Q. Do
you mix different parties together to share the cost?
A. No,
we only charter to your party. It is up to you
how many people you will bring. You may have anywhere
between one and six people.

many people can your boats accommodate?
A. We
can hold up to twelve technically, but the coast guard
limits us, as well as many of the private charter boats,
to six people chartering maximum.
Q. How
long has your company been in business?

started the company in 1998.

Q. Can
we bring children?
A. Yes.
Q. What
are the age restrictions on children?
A. On
straight fishing trips, the age limit is 6 and up.
If you have children below age 6 and the group wants
to fish, we offer only the combination trips, (fishing,
shelling, dolphin watching), for that age group. Children
ages 6-8 need to have an adult assigned to them and
team fishing with them. All other trips other than
fishing, any age children or infants are fine.
Q. How
many people can we have per boat?
A. Six
people maximum per boat. "Although on fishing charters
4 people max is optimum for customer comfort, but not
mandatory".
Q. What
if we have 7-12 people in our party?
A. You may book us for a morning trip and an
afternoon trip on the same day. We will switch out your parties
at lunch time after the first trip is complete.
Q. What
kinds of fish can we expect to catch?
A. It
depends on the time of year. You can catch snapper,
grouper, and spanish mackerel year round. Sharks and
barracuda are summertime favorites. Other fish would
include king mackerel, cobia, permit, Jew fish, sheepshead,
lady fish, jacks, snook, redfish, black drum and trout.
You can click here for
our current Fishing Report.
Q. What
do we do with the fish we catch?
A. You
can either catch and release them or if they are in
season, you can keep them according to the bag limits.
Q. Do
you clean the fish that we want to keep?
A. Yes,
we will clean and bag them for you when we get back
to the dock.
Q. How
big are your boats, brand, style etc..?
A. We have two identical 26'
boats.
Q. Do
you provide all the fishing equipment?
A. Yes.
Q. Do
you have shade on your boat?
A. Yes,
we do have some shade for some passengers. We have
a 10' long by 7' wide bimini top. It depends on where
you stand or sit and the position of the sun in the
sky as to the amount of shade that you will have.
Q. What
is your cancellation policy?
A. View
our
Cancellation
Policy.
Q. What
do we do if it is raining on the day of our charter?
A. It
depends on the severity of the rain and weather. It
will be the captain's call as whether to cancel or
not. It may be raining where you are staying but not
at our dock or not out to the area we are going fishing.
We do have rain gear for everyone on board if needed.
Many times it will be a brief passing shower and will
not affect us. We may cancel, switch to a different
day or time, or issue a rain check. Safety will be
the priority.
Q. Is
it customary to tip the captain and how much?
A. Yes,
if you enjoyed your trip, a tip of 10-20% is customary
for the captain.
Q. Where
are you located and what is your address?
A. We
are located at 1221 Fifth Ave. South on the corner
of Goodlette Rd and Fifth Ave. We are located on the
Hotel property at the docks. View
directions and map
Q. How
much time will we be actually fishing on our trip?
A. It
takes approximate 20-40 minutes to get to and from
our fishing spots. This time is included in your time
slot.
Q. How
can we pay?
A. Visa,
Master Card, Discover, American Express or cash.
Q. Do
you require a deposit down?
A. We
charge the full amount to your card at the time of
booking similar to purchasing an airline ticket. This
locks in your day and you cannot be bumped. View our
cancellation
policy.
Q. What
type of weather does your climate have?
A. It
is the
"dry season" typically November-April. We get
very little rain during this time. During the months May-October,
It is our "rainy season" which means typically
it will rain somewhere in the Naples area each day but
usually for an hour or so sometime between the hours of
3-7 PM.
Q. What
should we wear?
A. In
the months of November-April, you should
wear long pants and dress in layers such as a T-shirt
with a long sleeve shirt and a jacket or sweater.
A cap or hat is also good protection from the sun.
It usually feels about 10 degrees cooler on the water
than on land. Mornings will be cooler than afternoons.
In the months of May-October you should
wear shorts with a T-shirt, (preferably a white T-shirt)
and a cap or hat
Q. What
do we need to bring?
